Olivier is a silviculturist and forest ecologist trained in British Columbia and Québec. He is interested in the challenges of adapting forests to global changes. His focus lies in regeneration, when trees are most vulnerable to stresses such as herbivory or drought. He seeks to promote “underdog” trees and to to make forests more resilient and diverse.
