Clément is a freshly graduated PhD in biology, working with the DIVERSE project as a postdoctoral fellow. His PhD thesis concerned the long-term impacts of different forest management strategies at the landscape scale. As such, he has extensive experience with the LANDIS-II model that he used throughout his thesis, and which will be used for the theme 4 of DIVERSE. Previously, Clément has worked on a variety of subjects related to ecology : animal occurrence probabilities modelling via camera trap data from Africa, field work in the french Pyrenees for a landscape genetic study, and an ethological study concerning birds in Sweden. He’s also an enthusiast science communicator who loves to convey complex subjects in simple and visual ways.
