How reliant is the U.S. on Canadian lumber?

Professor Harry Nelson, who is leading Theme 5 in DIVERSE has given a short interview on CBC News on July 21st, 2026. He explained that, even in the difficult economic context of the tarrifs, the lumber exports show resiliency, and that the U.S demand for Canadian lumber has not and should not drastically drop.
